Web Copy That Sells - The Revolutionary Formula for Creating Killer Copy Every Time Web Copy That Sells - The Revolutionary Formula for Creating Killer Copy Every Time

Web Copy That Sells by Veloso scores 7/9 in our review

Coding level: This inspiring book talks about different strategies use when writing articles for the web, the content is a little heavy in some parts but makes this up with some excellent advice

Coding Quality: You would expect any errors from someone that's writing about web content, we did't pick any up when we reviewed this book, let us know!

Coding Coverage: The coverage is great in terms of strategies, but the book takes a lit of techniques from magazines and newspaper article writing, it would have been nice to see some actual working models based on some successful web sites

Readability: If you are used to reading technical books then this book will seem quite different in terms of layout and teaching methods, but it gets to the point where it matters

Adobe Photoshop CS3 for Photographers: A Professional Image Editor's Guide to the Creative Use of Photoshop for the Macintosh and PC

Adobe Photoshop CS3 for Photographers by Martin Evening scores 6/9 in our review

Coding level: This book uses some big words, but once you have got your head around them then its plain sailing

Coding Quality: Some of the information has not been updated as software updates have been released such as additional coverage of new features available in ACR 4.1

Coding Coverage: This book only covers Photoshop CS3 for Photographers as the title says not the whole Photoshop spectrum, it would have been nice to see a few little more tricks you could use in Photoshop

Readability: Some big words used but the book does take time to explain what the all mean

Bulletproof Web Design: Improving Flexibility and Protecting Against Worst-Case Scenarios with XHTML and CSS

Bulletproof Web Design book by Dan Cederholm scores 9/9 in our review

Coding level: Not for beginners but easy enough for someone still learning to code for the web

Coding Quality: Good layout and a end of book chapter demonstrating all the examples in a single website

Coding Coverage: Covers all main points without draggain on

Readability: Good layout but nothing special what you would expect in a decent reference book really

Beginning RSS and Atom Programming

Beginning RSS and Atom Programming by Danny Ayers and Andrew Watt scores 8/9 in our review

Coding level: If you want to learn about RSS and Atom then this book is great, but you need to know some basic XML/XQuery first

Coding Quality: Not a bad selection of code to work from, no CD but you can download the code in a .zip file from the publishers website

Coding Coverage: The book covers just about everything you need to know about RSS and Atom but remember you probably need to know a little about HTML and XML first

Readability: Good layout and index section, you can tell that the published book has been gone over by the publisher before for publishing to smarten it up
